Roseane Soong
Marketing Director
I have been teaching for 10 years and have a first class Batchelors Degree in Education Studies, a Masters Degree in Museum Studies and PGDE in Leadership in Learning.
When I initially started teaching, it was in specialist schools, working with children who were missing education, had social and emotional needs or had specific learning needs. My first teaching job, was teaching Information and Computing Technology. This perfectly nurtured my love of teaching STEM subjects as I know how worthwhile this was to my learners and how engaging STEM education can be.
I have been teaching in mainstream Primary school since 2019 and I now teach in the specialist nurture provision within the mainstream setting.
I am passionate about education being accessible to all and providing opportunities to learn in a variety of contexts. Intelligence come in many different forms and children should be given the opportunity to explore what they are passionate about.
Since the age of 17, I have worked in hospitality in many different roles: front of house, customer relations and customer service; back of house -cook/chef, kitchen manager, I have been a bistro manager and pub manager and have a NVQ qualification in Hospitality Supervision. I am particularly passionate about Asian cuisine, especially Cantonese dishes.
